Quick Answer
IGotAnOffer is a coaching marketplace where one credit costs about $50 and coaches charge 2 to 5 credits per hour, so you can book people who know specific companies and roles across tech, product and consulting. Mockly charges $50 an hour with two engineer coaches focused on interview English. Pick IGotAnOffer for company insight and Mockly for clearer spoken answers.
- IGotAnOffer lets you filter coaches by service, role, company and availability, and pay with credits that work with any coach.
- Its services go beyond interviews: resume review, career coaching, salary negotiation, leadership coaching and mentorship.
- Mockly has two coaches, Sophie and Tom, who run tech interview rounds in English and then correct how you explained your answers.
- Both use credits that last 12 months and a 24-hour cancellation rule.
How IGotAnOffer's Credit Model Works
IGotAnOffer, checked on 24 October 2026, works like this:
So an hour with an IGotAnOffer coach usually costs about two to five times the price of one credit, depending on the coach you pick. Coach profiles show their roles, the companies they have worked at, their locations and their credit price.

IGotAnOffer showed discounted credit packs on the day we checked. The per-credit price you pay depends on the pack size, so check igotanoffer.com before you buy.

If you specifically want a coach who has worked at, say, Amazon or Meta, IGotAnOffer's filters make that easy, and you pay for that specialist knowledge. If you want someone to fix how you explain your answers in English, Mockly's hour costs the same as a single IGotAnOffer credit.
What IGotAnOffer Covers That Mockly Doesn't
- Company-specific coaches. You can filter by company and pick someone who knows that company's process.
- Many roles and industries. Coaches cover software engineering, product management, data science, engineering management, consulting, finance and more. Mockly focuses on tech roles.
- Services beyond interviews. Resume review, career coaching, salary negotiation, leadership coaching and mentorship are all listed as separate services.
- Free written guides and a Q&A board. IGotAnOffer publishes interview guides for coding, system design, behavioural, product and case interviews, and a board where coaches answer questions.
- Unused credit refunds. Its FAQ says unused credits can be refunded within 30 days of purchase, adjusted for any pack discount.
Verdict
For consulting, finance or product roles, or when insider knowledge of one company matters most, IGotAnOffer is the better choice.
What Mockly Covers That IGotAnOffer Doesn't Focus On
IGotAnOffer's coaches are chosen for their interview and industry experience. Its site does not present English language coaching as a service. Mockly is built around exactly that gap.
- Feedback on your English, not just your answer. Every session includes feedback on grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, sentence structure and clarity.
- Phrasing you can reuse. The coach rewrites your weakest sentences into versions you can say under pressure, and gives you a drill list.
- Thinking out loud while coding. LeetCode sessions can use a problem agreed in advance or picked at random, and the focus is the English you use while solving it.
- Business English for tech. If you are not interviewing yet, sessions can cover meetings, stakeholder updates and design reviews.
- Free practice tools. Mini apps such as the STAR builder and the system design explainer need no account.
The second version is not more technical. It is clearer, it uses “I” for ownership, and it puts the point first. That is the kind of change a Mockly session focuses on.
The same applies to behavioural rounds. Many non-native candidates tell STAR stories that are translated sentence by sentence from their first language, so the situation takes two minutes and the result takes five seconds. A Mockly coach helps you cut the situation down, make your own actions clear, and end on a result with a number in it.

Try the Mini AppPolicies Compared: Refunds, Cancellations and Expiry
The two services have similar rules in some places and different ones in others.
IGotAnOffer (from its homepage FAQ)
- Cancel or reschedule for free more than 24 hours before the session. Within 24 hours you cannot cancel or reschedule.
- Missing a session or arriving more than 15 minutes late counts as a no-show, and the session is treated as used.
- Credits expire 12 months after purchase.
- Unused credits can be refunded within 30 days of purchase.
- First session with a coach is “risk-free”: contact them within 24 hours for a refund, up to one session per client.
Mockly (from its FAQ)
- Reschedule or cancel more than 24 hours before the session to keep your credit. Late cancellations forfeit the credit.
- Session credits expire 12 months after purchase and work with either coach.
- The 30-minute trial is free, so you can meet a coach before paying anything.
The practical takeaway is the same for both: book sessions when you are sure you can attend, because neither service lets you move a session in the last 24 hours. If your interview dates are still changing, buy a smaller pack first. IGotAnOffer's 30-day refund window on unused credits gives you a little more room to change your mind after buying; Mockly's free trial lets you check the fit before you pay at all.
